The Villa

Beyer’s concept focused on natural airflow, allowing every room to remain cool throughout the day without relying solely on air conditioning. The sophisticated yet understated design incorporates antiques and art pieces collected from around the world, giving the property a distinctive personality.

The estate is set across 10 acres of lush gardens and woodland, with spectacular views of the Grenadine islands. A stunning infinity pool, with its distinctive sparkling brown hue, sits between the two main buildings, offering a unique spot to relax while enjoying panoramic views.

The Location

Sweet Wind is set on its own private headland overlooking the turquoise waters of Hope Bay and the island of Mustique. The property is reached by its own private access road, which winds through the estate before arriving at the villa. Despite its sense of seclusion, Sweet Wind is only a ten-minute drive from Port Elizabeth, Bequia’s lively harbour town known for its restaurants, shops, and laid-back charm.

For those who enjoy exploring on foot, a scenic 20-minute hike leads to the pristine white sands of Hope Bay. Often described as Bequia’s most secluded and romantic beach, Hope Bay remains unspoilt, offering a peaceful setting for swimming, picnicking, or simply enjoying the sound of the waves. From the villa, sweeping views extend across the eastern Grenadines, taking in Balliceaux and Battowia, Mustique, and even St. Vincent to the north.

The Bedrooms

Sweet Wind offers three comfortable bedrooms spread across its two buildings. In the main house, the bedroom is just steps away through the garden and features generous proportions and an en suite bathroom. In the guest cottage, two additional bedrooms are positioned for privacy, each with its own en suite.

The primary bedroom in the guest cottage enjoys an elevated position with beautiful views and a spacious layout. The second bedroom in the cottage is equally well appointed, making it perfect for family members or friends. Throughout the property, all bedrooms are light and airy, with thoughtful design touches that create a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. The four primary sleeping spaces across the villa and cottage ensure comfort and privacy for every guest.

Indoors

The main house offers a large open-plan living and dining space that blends effortlessly with the outdoors. This area leads directly to the terrace and pool, creating a natural flow between lounging, dining, and swimming. The kitchen is well equipped and positioned conveniently off the main living area.
