The Villa

Sights & Sounds is a beautifully designed, contemporary villa located on a spacious two-acre plot in the exclusive Hope Estate. The home has been thoughtfully crafted to take full advantage of its surroundings, with open living spaces that flow effortlessly between indoors and out. The villa offers an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, ideal for couples, families, or small groups looking to enjoy privacy, comfort, and uninterrupted ocean views.

The main living areas are centered around a striking great room that opens up to a wraparound terrace, seamlessly blending the interior with the surrounding natural beauty. A separate studio apartment adds flexibility, making this property suitable for up to eight guests in total.

The Location

Perched above Hope Bay, the villa overlooks a stunning stretch of the Atlantic Ocean with clear views across to the islands of Balliceaux, Battowia, and Mustique. The elevated position offers not only breathtaking scenery but also the soothing sound of waves below. From the terrace, it’s possible to spot whales swimming offshore or enjoy the natural soundtrack of birds and tree frogs in the background.

This quiet, unspoiled part of the island offers a peaceful setting that still remains accessible to nearby beaches and local amenities. It’s an ideal retreat for guests seeking tranquillity in an authentic Caribbean environment.

The Bedrooms

Sights & Sounds features three beautifully appointed, air-conditioned bedrooms in the main villa, each with its own private terrace and sun loungers. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with double vanities and private outdoor showers, enclosed by tropical gardens for privacy. The rooms are furnished with solid mahogany four-poster king beds, spacious dressing rooms, and cozy reading areas. Details such as luxury linens, ceiling fans, iPod docks, and comfortable wicker seating add to the comfort.

The primary bedroom is located on the upper level, enjoying the best views of the sea. One of the lower-level bedrooms includes a screened-off children’s area with bunk beds and bright, playful décor. There is also a pack ‘n play portable crib available for families with young children.

In addition to the main house, the villa includes a separate studio apartment with a double bedroom, en-suite bathroom, and a small kitchen with a four-burner stove. It shares the driveway and parking area with the main house but has its own water supply, offering extra privacy for additional guests.

Indoors

The interiors of Sights & Sounds are designed with comfort and style in mind. The main living space features a vaulted ceiling made from Brazilian Ipe wood and polished Ipe floors. Large tri-fold doors on three sides open fully to the terrace, allowing plenty of natural light and air to fill the space.

The living area is furnished with two oversized white sofas, lounge chairs, ottomans, and occasional tables, making it an inviting place to relax at any time of day. The dining area includes a large mahogany table that seats up to 10 people.

A gourmet kitchen is well equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a central island, and a walk-in pantry. It includes all the necessary cookware and dinnerware, as well as small appliances for added convenience.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces at Sights & Sounds are as impressive as the interior. The saltwater infinity-edge pool is surrounded by natural shell stone decking and landscaped tropical planters. Comfortable Balinese sun loungers, umbrellas, and plantation chairs make it easy to enjoy the views or relax in the shade.

Next to the pool, there’s a covered outdoor dining area, and another option to dine beneath the stars. A nearby bar and kitchen area make it perfect for entertaining, from sunrise breakfasts to romantic sunset dinners.

Safety has also been considered, with removable pool and balcony barriers in place. The villa offers a secure two-car garage, a night watchman for added peace of mind, and safes for storing valuables.
